Tips for solving anything here
- Work in pencil. Every one of these is meant to be crossed out and redone.
- Start with whatever is easiest to see. The easy answers hand you the hard ones.
- When you are stuck, stop hunting and re-read the clues — the next step is almost always in something you have already been told.
- Say things out loud. Letters, names and phrases give themselves away to your ear long before your eye.
- Put it down and come back. Ten minutes away solves more puzzles than an hour of staring.
- There is no timer and no score. Peek at the answer key whenever you like — that is what it is there for.
