Bridges
Link the numbered islands so each one carries exactly as many bridges as it says.

How to play
- Join the islands with bridges so every island has exactly as many bridge ends as its number.
- Bridges run across or down between two islands, never diagonally.
- No more than two bridges may join the same pair of islands.
- Bridges may not cross each other, and may not pass over an island.
- When you have finished, every island must be reachable from every other one.
Tips for solving it
None of these give anything away — they are just how people who do these all the time get unstuck.
- An island showing 8 must run two bridges in all four directions. So must a 6 with only three neighbours, and a 4 with two. Start there.
- A 1 in a corner with one neighbour, or a 3 against an edge, is settled before you have thought about anything else.
- Once a bridge is drawn, cross off every bridge it would now block - that is where the next forced move usually comes from.
- Two islands showing 1 that can only see each other may never be joined: it would finish them both off in a little network of their own.
- Near the end, check connectivity rather than counting. A move that seals a group off from the rest is wrong however well the numbers add up.
